Nurse Clinics

Our Nurses are all qualified and registered with the RCVS.

They are passionate about their work and treat every patient as if they were their own.

Nurse clinics are an easy way for you to bring your pet in to be seen when a Vet isn't needed.

What can be done in a nurse clinic?

Weight Checks

Over 60% of cats and dogs are overweight!
Our weight clinics allow you to regularly weigh your pet. Our nurses can also give you advice on how to put your pet on a diet.

Nail Clips

Sometimes our pets nails don't get worn down naturally on walks, therefore they need trimming. This is something that the nurses can assist you with.
It is not advised to trim outdoor cats nails.

Pet Care Advice

Any questions you may have on feeding, housing and general care can be answered by our nurses. If they don't know the answer, they will work with you to find one.

2nd Vaccinations

If your pet is having it's first lot of vaccinations or having to restart and you've already had an appointment with one of our vets, you can see a nurse for your next injections.

Flea and worming treatments

The treatments that we can prescribe you are based on your pets weight. Because of this, they will sometimes need regular weighing to ensure we are dispensing the  product and strength. If this is needed our nurses can see you for a quick 'weigh and worm' clinic.

Microchip checks

Checking that microchips are in place and the details are correct is very important.
This is something that our nurses are able to do.

Nutrition

Knowing what to feed your pets can be daunting.
Our nurses will be happy to talk to you and assess your pet's needs to find the right diet for them.

Blood Pressure Monitoring

Many of our older patients benefit from having their blood pressure monitored. A nurse can do this and then pass the results onto the vet for evaluation.
